De la physique des particules à l'innovation médicale pilotée par l'IA

Nathaniel Lasry is a trained theoretical particle physicist who completed a PhD in cognitive science (McGill, 2006). Dr. Lasry then held an appointment at the Harvard School of Engineering & Applied Science (2006–2010) as a postdoc of Prof. Eric Mazur. He is the author of a book and more than 75 publications in high-impact journals such as Science and Nature Physics. He was featured in award-winning TV series (Discovery Channel & Canal D) and received prizes and accolades from entities such as the Canadian Association of Physicists.

Nathaniel Lasry est un physicien théoricien des particules de formation qui a complété un doctorat en sciences cognitives (McGill, 2006). Il a ensuite occupé un poste à la Harvard School of Engineering & Applied Science (2006–2010) en tant que chercheur postdoctoral du Prof. Eric Mazur. Il est l'auteur d'un livre et de plus de 75 publications dans des revues à fort impact telles que Science et Nature Physics. Il a été présenté dans des séries télévisées primées (Discovery Channel & Canal D) et a reçu des prix et distinctions d'organismes tels que l'Association canadienne des physiciens et physiciennes.

After 20 years as a professor of physics, Dr. Lasry left all academic appointments and currently devotes his time to developing AI-driven medical solutions in companies he founded or co-founded — iMD Research and Intellident AI. In 2024, these two companies received the MEDTEQ+ Innovator of the Year award at the annual ADRIQ prizes that celebrate innovation in Quebec. On behalf of these companies, Dr. Lasry has also been an industrial partner to several NSERC-Alliance funded projects.

Après 20 ans comme professeur de physique, Dr. Lasry a quitté tous ses postes académiques et consacre désormais son temps au développement de solutions médicales pilotées par l'IA dans des entreprises qu'il a fondées ou cofondées — iMD Research et Intellident AI. En 2024, ces deux entreprises ont reçu le prix Innovateur de l'année MEDTEQ+ lors des prix annuels ADRIQ célébrant l'innovation au Québec. Au nom de ces entreprises, Dr. Lasry a également été partenaire industriel de plusieurs projets financés par l'Alliance CRSNG.
